The mission of Inclusion Zone (IZ) is to provide education and resources to parents, families and the general public that facilitate the full inclusion of children with disabilities in all areas of life. IZ promotes the understanding and recognition of issues that impact inclusion, and develops high impact programs and partnerships that help educate society on the inclusion of people with disabilities. IZ is the presenter of the Inclusion Zone podcast that discusses issues and concerns facing parents and families of children with disabilities in today’s complex and competitive world. With over 100 episodes, guests have included former US Attorney General Dick Thornburgh discussing the Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities, Pulitzer Prize winner Buzz Bissinger debuting his recent book Father’s Day, U.S. Assistant Secretary of Education Alexa Posny speaking on the use of restraints and seclusion in schools, and filmmaker Dan Habib.
